Yipes!
Just a word of advice about the "upgrade" to brass blockers. DONT DO IT! Its true that they will last longer than the fiber ones under NORMAL driving conditions (shifting at a snails pace at 2500rpm), but for the way most of us drive a 5-speed and I assume you do too, the brass blockers WILL crunch under quick shifts. I went through two tranny rebuilds within 6 months before I figured this out. I happens on the 3rd gear syncro, because the gearing is gapped considerably higher from 2nd to 3rd, than it is from 1st to 2nd. Because of this, the brass doesnt flex at all within that long gap and will make a nice crunching noise as you shift to 3rd, which will eventually rip the blocker to shreads and then its off to replace your syncro again. The fiber ones WILL stand up to the abuse much better, and have a life expectancy of close to 80,000mi. Just .02 cents from someone who learned this the hard way.
