Thanks for the quick response. One last question. Is my custom ken Wagner double IC adequate for this setup and would I have to ask Dave Dalke to adjust my tune?

I would check with Dave on the tune question, I would say yes but he is the expert here. With the extra boost you could peg the maf, fuel injectors or pump. It is impossible to say without knowing the component details of your car which Dave does.

On the intercooler question there are two important things to check, one is back pressure and the other air charge temperature. The double interooler does good on back pressure as far as I know. On the temperature aspect they tend to start off with cool air charge temperatures but get heat soaked after hard driving because it is hard to get enough ambient air through them howbeit a couple of fans help a lot. If air charge temperatures are good now then I'd suspect the cooler will work fine with the coated rotors.

Charles,
This is Smitty. I was the lucky winner of one of the first MPIII's at the OK Shootout. I was wondering if this new rotor pack and bearing plate will fit onto my MPIII with no issues.

If so this looks like my next upgrade.

Just let me know.

Oh yeah, sure will. It is compatible with any Gen I or Gen II supercharger.

What is the turn around time on this? Just trying to plan a few things. How long has it been taking you all to get your SCs back?

I just threw my hat in on this as well.
Anyone tested the new coating with water/meth being sucked thru the rotors?

Best I know of nobody has recieved any yet nor even a response from Charles. Sent money first part of October, SC first part of November and still no word on an expected return date.

Amazing customer service being provided on this. I mean communication.

Theres no doubt it will return, but trying to setup a scheduled plan and to figure out which project(s) to preceed with communication is the key.

Charles just returned my email, so he's active. He has a great reputation here, so I'm sure everything will be fine (minus the communication). In my case, I'm kinda lucky as this is a spare M90 that I want to rebuild really nicely and just swap out when ready.

Charles won't guarantee the coating holding up to meth. I'll have to look at how I'm going to fit my nozzle just after the M90.

You want your meth nozzle on the intake pipe as close to the ACT sensor as possible. If you put it right after the blower it will be wasted cooling the hot air coming out of the super charger and you won't see it's benefits.

Keep in mind my M90 is custom mounted on a Ford Explorer.

My iat sensor is mounted after the blower. I'm going to have a really close look at where I can tap the manifold for the spray. It makes perfect sense that I need to make sure the iat sensor can 'feel' the cooling effects. Its pretty tight in that area on the manifold, I'm scratching my head a bit.

I appreciate the hint. It would have been so much easier for me to spray just after the throttle body.

So I went from the MPx to the new MPxS no other modifications and same 15% OD

PSI went from 16-17 to 19-20

Also interesting is that I am running the same tune & same octane and it stays rich enough and feels a lot more powerful

debating if I want to lower boost back to 17ish...I am sure it will still have gained power over the old MPx
