I do not know of any, but SC brakes are upgradeable to either the late model Thunderbird('97) or the Lincoln Mark 8. Both are said to provide substantial stopping results, and be relatively easy.

no other input? please!! i can`t drive my SC the way it is. not even LX rotors and pads will work?

www.mn12performance.com did a tech article on upgrading MN12 brakes:

LX brakes should cross on the front. LX has drum rear brakes.

But why cross them. Any shop should be able to get you pads for the SC. They are pretty basic.

You be driving the wrong car then buddy.

You looking for used stuff? New from www.carparts.com some el-cheapo pads from Raybestos for the front - $19.57.

No listing for rear, but likely not that much more. I think I paid $28.00 for my rears.
