Oil in lower inter cooler pipe

My 90 SC failed emissions and started running very rough. I need to do the rebuild on the supercharger so I decided I should start there I took off bottom inter cooler tube and about 3 OZ of oil came out. Help I have no idea what to look for. Thanks

The oil in the lower intercooler pipe is most likely unrelated to the running rough. That typically signifies a nonfunctional PVC valve, or too much blow by. An oil catch can would remedy that.

A vacuum leak, or faulty ignition wires and plugs would be where I would look first to remedy the rough running engine.

i'd be worried if there wasnt any oil, even without a pcv they still collect oil just being a low lying area and what not, dare i say its inevitable but highly unlikely you wouldn't get any oil there

My tubes and intercooler had residue in them. My intake from my blower to the engine on my truck does too. It's all just from crankcase ventilation. It has some oil vapor in it and it just settles in places.
