I dont know if anyone cares or not. but in down to 310 from 396.
my goal is to be 230 by september and do my first bb show in october.

Thats awsome man, your goal is an uphill climb but always hang in there and do work. If you get hurt work around your injurys dont stop going to "HEAL" I trained for the Mr Indiana natural body building competition back in 01 02 and I started at 250 to try to get down to around 190 and tore my shoulder up. I bowed out and let it heal and 10 years later im still at 235 and im on and off working out. I wish you the best of luck and no matter what happens hang in there all your hard work will really pay off!!

Jason That is awesome! I am a tennis pro, played professionally til I was 30 and have been training high performance Jrs since. KEEP YOUR EYE ON THE PRIZE!

Don't over do it and take your time! Keep your goals and do it slowly! The weight will stay of when done over a time period and not over night.

I had a student once that was 15 years old, 5 9 and weight was 310. He ended up playing college tennis and was at 185 when he went to school as a freshman.

How tall are you?

I commend you on your efforts so far!:D

My math says you're 5lbs away from the 200's. Losing 4lbs will put you at 300. And 300 isn't quite in the 200's :-P

Yea I must say you are looking a lot thinner. I think I must be putting on the weight you are loosing. LOL But I just picked up some work out equipment and am starting to work out at home.

It will likely go slower as you start getting down to your target weight. Would be cool to see pictures of you at 300+ and one of you at 220, that a dramatic change. I started back to the gym as well and am looking to go from 205 to 185. Tough at my old age

I tell my kids that could lose 10lbs. Lose the 10 then strap a 10lbs weight on your back and go play a 3 1/2hr tennis match on a hard court in the summer in the south when it's 96 outside but it's 130 on the court and tell me how you feel!:eek:

Imagine how fast you will feel when you get to your target weight. How your back and knees will feel.:eek::D

Keep going Jason. At your initial weight the first 100lbs is the easiest. Now it starts to get harder. Don't give up!

Cool. I have lost 12 lbs, from 210 to 198. Hungry all the time & in the gym 4 times a week. Not much weight in comparrasion to all you have lost. Keep going, looks like you are going to meet your goals

273 and almost in the 260's. trying for april 13th being 250. Then if im not where i need to be then 230. november i will be doing my first pysique show and bodybuilng show later in the fall with my friend shannon.Because of my knee's my real heavy deadlifting is pretty mutch done. so shannon talked me into doing these shows.

no needed to get healthy for i had serious issues. my blood pressure used to be 185/95. know it's 127/85 and my knees where giving me to many problems.plus i wanted other things to change and being as big as i was made it hard to do lot's of stuff i needed to be doing. like work because all people seen was a fat guy that they couldn't do the work when i would look for jobs. As far as the car's go i just dont care anymore. my focus on things is not like that anymore. would rather spend my time with friends and training.plus im getting ready to do my first show in november with my friend shannon. I am getting ready to sue the mechanic.get my money so i can get out of these bills and probably part the car or sell it.

Thats really impressive. I am kind of stuck where I am for now. Still hitting the gym but food tastes so good, Im sure my diet keeps me from continuing to lose weight. Although I am building muscle mass. Anyway you should post up a picture.

I have an Omron Unit that the doc gave me.

Just tested.... 177/115 HB 75. 6 ft 185lbs

Its better though, I hit 221/145 a few mth ago.

I'm cooking bacon right now.:eek:

my blood pressure is low because of diet. then i also do 2 hours of cardio a day 7 days a week. keep in mind i do 15 incline at 3.5 miles an hour for 5min then burst to 3.8 for 3min then back to 5min of 3.5. doing that for a hour in the morning and evening. nothing but 98% water only and once in awhile a coke zero. but mainly just water.

Water is your friend. My diet sucks as I have always been able to eat anything. I guess it could be worse. It is my sugar intake which is way to high!:eek:

I started lifting again after a 17 break. I am trying to go up not down. I was lean after playing all summer(tennis-national events) say 180 for the first time in 20yrs. I am 6ft so I was looking skinny to me.

Don't play much in the winter, no indoor courts, so I decided to put some muscle on my frame. I will lose a lot of it when the heat comes again. I am at 205. I would like to get to 215 as that was the highest I ever was. Muscle memory so it might be possible. I don't move so fast at that weight:rolleyes: but I sure can hit the ball hard!:eek: Usually goes out but thats the story of my life.

Maybe this year I can win a national event. Finished between 9 and 11 at the hard courts in Portland OR this summer.:mad: They only have 4 a yr and its a battle. Body takes a beating, lower back, shoulder and legs. Gets harder to play every year!:(

It is a really tough sport. I am of the age where my dad called it a sissy sport. Then he saw me play as a young adult hitting a serve at him at 125mph and he finally gave me a break. It is a young mans game , to play it well.you are over the hill around 30. My last tournament this summer I played the 4th seed in the quarters it was 95 outside,120 on the court.I won the match in the 3Rd set. Took 31/2 hours.I shock hands with the guy i went to the side of the fence and got sick. Two hours later I had to play my doubles match which was about 21/2 hours. I had to play my next round of singles at 900am. I was so soar the nextday like I was hit by a bus. List that match went into the back draw and played 3 more singles matches and the same in doubles. A brutal week. I learned that to play and try to win a national event in singles which means you have to win 7 matches in a row. To play doubles on top is suicide. I have been clean from drugs for years but I was joking with my wife that playing these was a whole new level of self distruction.

Im down to 190. I was up to 210 during the holiday. On a much better diet and in the gym 4 times a week, lifts all have sky rocketed. Really fired up each time I go to the gym. Its really good to take care of your health. Look forward to seeing your final results

I am down to 235. 15 more to go. I am doing my first show in October with Shannon. I got to see her last wensday and she freaked. she had not seen me sence 270. boy was she surprised. what a great feeling. I this girl a lot and boy am I lucky to have her in my life. love her so mutch.

Great job... I just read your entire post. How awesome does it feel to shop at a normal clothing store or not have to worry about breaking a camp chair when you sit in it. I too used to be way too big. I am 6' and weighed 344 pounds about a year and a half ago. I now weigh around 230. I feel awesome. I needed to make a life change as well especially with a 5 year old running around.

I have a few questions for you if you dont mind. How has loose skin been for you. I lost most of my weight too fast with a radical diet change. Not by working out. I also lost alot of muscle. I have been at the gym now for 5 months and have gained about 5 pounds of muscle. I am alot stronger now but not as much as when I was big. My worst part now is loose skin by triceps and my man boobs... lol Just curious how your skin has responded. Also how old are you. I am 35.

well I am 37 and took a year and half to get where I am at. but with diet,cardio and heavy weight training. I have very little loose skin. in the next 16 weeks it all should be gone. this is my second time doing this. I was 385 got to 308 and quit had to start over. I have been training off and on over the last 10 years.

200 seems low for your size. Your 6 foot something arent you. Im 5'9" and 190. Anyway it is a victory all around for you as you have to feel a lot better and have more energy besides looking great

Awesome you have done it.:D I hit my goal of 215 but although I am carrying more muscle now it make my mobility on the court on these summer days a little more taxing. Like running at 200 then playing with 15lbs in a back pack!

Guess it is working though I just won the GA State Championships and beat the guy 6-0 6-1 in the finals so I man handled that dude!:eek:

well yesterday I tied my old personal best of 395 pounds on deadlift. weighing 240 and the last time I lifted that much I was 360 pounds.
I took first place in my weight class at the 2014 me vs me benchpress /deadlift championships.
