In search of MK8 engine

Looking to buy a MK8 engine... prefer a '97 or '98 that is complete but will entertain anything at this point.

I have a nearly complete Gen 1 engine in Cincinnati, OH, which is approx. 2 hours away.

All the accessories are present as well as the intake tube and engine cover.

The exhaust manifolds are not included but we have the Kooks headers available if needed.

I believe 97 or 98 is the second version?

If you look on ebay or car-part.com there are plenty of them unless you have a Pick-N-Pull or other self service yard near you...they'll be the cheapest but you'll have to pull it
