heating probs

my car been running hot eversince i bought it (6yrs ago. i was told it just runs hot?. i have done everything possible i know to cool her down but to no luck . ihave gotten a new radiator,t-stat(160 degree),water pump, hoses,and coolant. i was told it might be the radiator fan not turning on high ? think this is it? any ideas would be greatly appreciated. also i'm in so.cal and no one out in my area (mechanic wise) knows anything about trouble shooting the car, if there is any specialist in the torrance ,ca. area let me know thanks.

This problem comes up all the time, I was worried about it at one time to. I found out that the SC's just create a lot of heat and ive learned to deal with it. As long as the needle doesnt get too far off the edge towards "hot" i wouldnt worry too much. mine goes all the way up to the m in "norm" then the fan kicks on. ive heard of people on this site getting their SC's to never even reach the "n" ... but anyway. sounds like you did a lot of work on yours, id keep an eye on it, but dont kill yourslef over it. good luck-

i guess i'm not the only one. it just makes me uneasy to drive the car on long distances , i'm afriad of something breaking.

Send me an email GardenaSC, Im in LA and have the same problem. There are a couple things you can do to lower your temps. We have a few guys here in Southern California that know their way around SC's VERY well. Just drop me a line.
