Just dropping in really fast to let those of you who know/care that my SC has been sold. The new owner hauled it home a few nights ago to Nor-Cal.

I hope she is good to the new owner and he loves her lots.

Thanks for letting us know when it went for sale TBK!!! You know, some of us might have wanted to buy it off of you so we can drive it around for thousands and thousands of miles and made fun of you for having sold it. Just for kicks, how much did you get for it and who was it that bought it?

Al

Are you just being silly?

I posted that it was going up on Ebay. I put it in the Forsale section of here, TBU, and TBSCEC. If you missed it, then you are blind.

If you are trying to make a jab at me...ya got me! ;-)

ACK! PC about to crash again....stupid POS!

No, I seriously thought you were going to post here on the So Cal board to let us know. I didnt see it on the TBU either. Guess my eye sight isnt what it used to be. So who did it go to?

Al

His name is Bob. I won't give out more than that in case he doesn't want me too. He was a really nice guy. He had loved SCs since they came out, just never bought one. This was his dream to get one (much like mine was for a while).

He knows about this board and I told him to make sure to join the Nor-Cal group so he can get some help/info from everyone in the future.

Cool. Maybe we will see the 93 at Bakersfield then, will be looking out for Bob! Not digging your title though...maybe Depressed Texan or Texan Elitist would be better ;)

It was certainly a fun trip! The best part was the detour trying to find a gas station and driving over the turn-about!!! :)

The next one is in LA and I'm trying to get a deal going that should get it for no cash outta pocket. :)

Just did it for fun. Thought Mandi would like it....I liked it but had no reason to use it....so I thought I would just do the friendly picking on eachother thing with ya again.

lol I believe someone isn't too familiar with SARCASM.
Hey, ya want the pictures of my friends Fierro from school? He is working on putting in a 3.8sc from a Bonneville or Park Avenue or somethign or other, can't remember right now, brain is still on stand by. So far all he has is nitrous, ignition box and a few other things and it has ran a best of 14.7 in the 1/4 and low 9's in the 1/8 at Irwindale. He says when he is done with the engine swap he hopes to be in the 12's.

Al

If ya got some pics handy, sure.

I'm currently looking at dropping in a 4.9L all aluminum Northstar engine. (From caddy).

I still might go with a SBC 350, but I would have to get smog legal for Cali......and the 4.9L weighs so much less.....

hard decisions....

THe 3800SC is a great swap to do that requires fairly little modifications....hardest part is the ECM.

Thoguht I had them on the zip disks I have with me here, I probably left them at home. I'll send them later. 350 sounds like more of an option, millions and millions of aftermarket parts for 350's.
