Suspension Bushing Questions...links included

Okay, so i have a clunking sound in the rear of my car, and i have new tokico's in there, yet it didnt go away, so i figured i might as well rebuild the suspension when I install my new front tokico's as well as eibach lowering springs. Now I've been trying to do my research, and trust me i've spent hours looking for bushings and what to use and whatnot, but i'm still hesitant on my choices. My car is a 94 Auto with 51k on it. First things first, i ordered two bushings from SCP this week:

Rear Poly ARC Shock Mount Kit for Tokico Shocks:
http://www.supercoupeperformance.com/partBrowser.aspx?partId=501

Front Suspension Poly Bushings for the Front of the Strut Rod-Both Sides:
http://www.supercoupeperformance.com/partBrowser.aspx?partId=606

However, I have been reading that I should only be using Ford OEM for these strut rod bushings. Will these hold up? Or would i just be better off with the Ford OEM. I've done some research and the kit for the strut rod is E9SZ3A187A. Now do i need one of these kits? Or does each kit from Ford do only one side?

Next, I am wondering how Poly Bushings are in the front of the car, and was looking at this kit from SCP:
http://www.supercoupeperformance.com/partBrowser.aspx?partId=241

Or would I be better off piecing together OEM Ford bushings for these as well?

Now to the rear of the car, I see energy suspension sells a Poly Rear Bushing Kit:
http://www.energysuspensionparts.com/proddetail.asp?prod=4.3163
Which includes the bushings necessary for the spindles. Now, would this be enough to replace? Or should I replace them with the SCP kit:http://www.supercoupeperformance.com/partBrowser.aspx?partId=240

What is the difference between these two kits? Are the extra bushings in the SCP kit necessary?

Sorry for my long winded post, but i wanted to try and provide as much info as i can for what I'm looking towards in regards to suspension work. To be honest, I'd rather just do it once and get it over with, then cheap out and have to worry about it at a later date.

I would buy everything you can and try first for Ford, then TRW, then Moog, and then Raybestos (Professional Grade).

In my opinion, the strut rod bushings should be Ford as none of the other ones are really close in design. I haven't used the poly ones myself, but I have seen many threads about failures years back.

If you are looking for performance upgrades, you could use poly LCA bushings in the front. I don't know too many who have done that. And in the rear, you could go with DLF's Delrin LCA bushings and poly knuckle bushings. They have been pretty well received. They do eliminate the stock toe compensator links, which are extra parts that cost a fair amount.

Okay, this is what I was looking for. So for the front, will the full kitE9SZ3A187A work? Or do I need two of these kits, this i'm not sure of. And so poly is no good for the front? And for the rear poly and Delrin?

For the strut rod bushings I use Moog. I have to change the frame side every 3 to 4 years, but they are lifetime warranty. I put about 10,000 miles a year on the car.

how are the swaybar links? I have had one break at the threaded end and made a clunking sound every time I hit a bump. (link hitting the lower control arm)

The E9SZ-3A187-A kit is no longer available, except for the old stock on the shelf at rare dealers around the country.

Info on the bushings themselves (which ARE!) are in the thread at http://forums.tccoa.com/showthread.php?t=135491 .

Just curious, why don't you use Ford parts so you won't have to touch them for 15 years?

Fords bushings dont last 15 years, people just generally dont replace them until it becomes a problem.

At the frame side, those bushings seem to be pretty durable. I checked mine out back in 2007 and they were pretty solid. I haven't messed with them since because they haven't shown any problems. So I would say they have lasted 23 years, really...

yeah your right it pretty much depends on how much you drive anything and although technology has improved since these cars where manufactured unless you replace everything with poly your going to replace them again so pay me now or pay me later lol.
