so after months of pulling my hair out trying to fix my bucking bird, after 2 cam sensors and no luck, i re-wrapped my ignition harness after the ignition control module, i went out on a limb and got fed up, looked in my pocket and found the 2 cleanest pennies and the cleanest dime, unbolted the icm, cleaned off the old heat sink, reapplied new compound and wedged the change in between the bracket and the module, and tightened the bolts, took it for a long ride and problem solved..its been over 300 miles and still perfect

The was a cheap fix. It may have been just the heat sink compound that got old and wasn't effectively transfering heat. I have had that problem on some pc's and servers I worked on. Hope the fix hold up over time. Escpecially since spring is here.
