I just recently purchased a completely stock 90 Supercoupe with 100K miles. It is in excellent mechanical condition. I am considering upgraging from 2:73 to 3:08 gear and wondering is this aggressive enough. I am hesistant about going to 3:27 because I do alot of highway driving.

For an automatic the most streetable gear is a 3:73 and for a 5 speed a 3:55. If you do a lot of highway driving your gas mileage will suffer greatly no matter what you do. However on a 5-speed fifth gear pulls like a regular gear and not an overdrive gear.
