Just as a note - they're about 5 miles from my house (!!!) and in the same complex I'm planning to take Ruby Jean (my 1991 Cougar) to in order to get the exhaust fixed (a local firm named AB Muffler).
Going to ask them about the speedo gears for my stepson's Dakota also while I'm there.

I swapped the factory differential from my 5-spd for an auto differential, now my speedometer is fast about 20% or so.
I could use the gears for the speedo because im putting on 20% more miles on the odometer than im really putting on

Ayep. There's a chart at TCCoA that has what tooth / color gear goes with what rear gear for stock size tires. You can find it at http://www.tccoa.com/articles/gears/gears.html (after the axle code chart).
