Just picked up a '94 SC of eBay. :) Flew to California on Sunday after the shipping quotes I got were outrageous and then drove it home Sunday/Monday. Pics to follow once the weather here improves and I have a chance to clean the car up.

That it is. For the price, I couldn't say no. First one I've seen priced below 4k that was in good shape in sometime. Shipping was initially quoted by eBay around 600 which was fine but after actually contacting shippers, it was a grand plus. I had a free plane ticket coupon sitting here so I burned that and $230 in gas/food for the trip home.

Mechanically, car is perfect. Newer transmission as well. Built and installed by the local Ford dealership. I love the brake switch to the Lincoln Mark VIII's on it as well. Stops the car on the proverbial dime. FAR better than my last two Thunderbird that were sometimes 'questionable' when stopping. I was also surprised that the HID lights weren't just the autozone bulbs but the full ballast system and aimed projectors. Nicely done.

On the highway, I was getting an average of 26 mpg as well while running 80 for most of the way. Would have been a little better but the wind was crazy on Sunday. Did a LOT of tumbleweed dodging.

Other than the color change from teal to blue, car was a steal. I'm going to repaint the car properly in about a month or so. Trying to decide on either a HOK blue or Ford BAB. Considered going back to stock but figured since the blue was what attracted me to the car, might as well keep it blue but do it right.

Changing the Eclipse deck today to an Alpine should someone need a new HU. :)
