You should be fine. The #42 injectors that had the bad spray pattern were the Bosch green tops from ford racing. They were the injector Ford used on the 03/04 cobra and they had a dual pattern that was designed for the split port head. The green giants from Bosch are fine and yours should be as well.

I do apologize I didn't describe it correctly. It is a single port that splits to two just a few inches into the intake port. The double spray pattern was designed to equalize the fuel air charge into each of the split runners. YOu can kind of see what I am describing in the attached picture. And again they may be #39 injectors but I am certain they use the same spray pattern as a #42 green top.

I couldn't find a good video of the green top or cobra injector (trust it is a dual spray pattern) but you can clearly see here the bosch gen 3 (or green giant as a described above in the #42 variety) have a real nice spray pattern with nice atomization.

I didn't explain properly but it wasn't poor information.

GM/Delphi injectors suck for forced induction because they lose spray pattern integrity at high pressures. Use the Lightning injectors if you want to use OE. Get 60's if you are buying new aftermarket.

i got them for 40 bucks from a running modded gtp and the wifes car is pretty mild compared to mine i figured that they would suffice for a 5% od 75mm tb and ported early blower car with 2.5 in exhaust
