A few months ago I had the cats removed and pipes welded in but I HATE the way the car sounds. I was looking for opinions as to whats my next best move.I was thinking of putting some high flow cats back on and losing the resonator. Maybe some not stock mufflers.....who knows? any ideas or opinions would be great.

90 degree V6

You do NOT want to hear 90 V6's. They naturally sound horrible. Nothing you can do about it if they are louder than a Lincoln.

High flow resonators and QUIET muflers.

I would do a aftermarket res of some sort and mufflers too just gutted cats give it a bad rasp I started with just gutted cats and soon upgraded

Just removing or gutting the cats will change the tone that much ??

elanoresc, once you gutted the cats what did you end up for a system ??

I went with res from scp the 2.5 to 3 into t connector and magnaflow muffs just always liked the way they make a v6 sound and dumped them out right before the front of the rear tires with down tubes of the muffs so it rumbles of the ground
