I wanted to say hello to everyone at SCCOA. I didn't realize that this site was still active until the other day when someone commented on my youtube video.

I have an 89 SC with 135k miles on it, freshly restored. My parents bought it new in 89, I learned to drive in it during the mid 90s, it sat in barn for 10 years, and since last August I have been restoring it. Its like a single owner car! Its awesome to get to drive it again. Ohh yeah, while I was restoring it I did a little bit to the motor...

I signed up to say thanks and give a little back from all the info that I was able to glean and learn over the last year.

Nice car Dereck, looks like you did a lot of work restoring it, and those are very impressive dyno numbers, especially with a stock intercooler. Hope you can bring that car to the Shootout in October.

Oh yeah, welcome to SCCoA.

The Shootout is every fall, and it's typically located as centrally as possible. Welcome to the forums, and great job on the resto.

Nice looking ride and welcome on board.

There are guys who come every year to the Shootout from nearly 4x farther away than that (crazy Canadians), it's 14 hours for me in CT. Trust me....it's worth it!!!

I don't think about the miles. I think only ... 9 to 10 hours and three tanks of gas. And I'm not the craziest Canadian. John drives down from Alberta:eek:
