Got the vacuum/boost gauge patched. Thank you for the pics, and help.

New question. Where is the speedo gear in the 5spd tranny, and ho do I get to it to check it? The speedo gauge gears are new, purchased from scp.
Also, what tool is used to remove the "nut" at the top of the supercharger tube to access the pcv valve?

Thank you,
Jim

the speedo gear is back toward the tail shaft. the PCV valve is actually at the back side of the passenger side valve cover. no need to remove SC tubing. there is a special wrench BTW for the SC nut you can get from SCP. some of us use a big screwdriver and a hammer but that is hard on the slots.

What is the part that is under the sc tube, in the valve cover, that has a hose attached, and runs to the underside of the air inlet to the throttle body?

that is just a tube adapter that returns air from the crankcase back through the inlet. the air has already been accounted for by the MAF and this is done so that air is not lost.

Where exactly on the trans is the speedo gear? Is there an electrical connection attached to it?

Thank you,
Jim
