supercharger problem?

Ok, I just got a 1994 Thunderbird LX (3.8 V6). Could I buy a used Supercharger that used to be in a 89-95 Supercoupe, and put it in my car? Thanks for your help. ~John

only if you want to destory your engine........ theres a bunch of diffrent parts in the SC motor than a n/a 3.8 the rods r diffrent and some other stuff... not exactly sure what, but it isnt a good idea.

I agree, The SC engine was made much more stronger than the regular 3.8 N/A. Thicker cylinder walls and so on... (I believe) but yea, probably isnt a good idea. Seems like too much work anyhow. i would try and just buy a complete SC engine-- would be better in the long run. good luck-

Swap all the electronicsand hardware (intake IS tubes etc) and keep the engine under 5 grand at stock power levels and you will be fine.
