accumulator ball

search isn't wanting to work for me, so.. If I swap out the accumulator, do I need to bleed the brakes?

Nope.

However, it's a good idea to bleed the accumulator ball before removing the old one.

Say, about 30 or 40 full pumps of the brake pedal with the ignition off.

I'd also recommend wrapping a rag around the base of the accumulator before removal. I'm not sure if I made it to 40 pumps, but I still had pressure in mine when I broke it loose.
