search isn't wanting to work for me, so.. If I swap out the accumulator, do I need to bleed the brakes?

Nope.

However, it's a good idea to bleed the accumulator ball before removing the old one.

Say, about 30 or 40 full pumps of the brake pedal with the ignition off.

I'd also recommend wrapping a rag around the base of the accumulator before removal. I'm not sure if I made it to 40 pumps, but I still had pressure in mine when I broke it loose.

Anyone know the o-ring size for the base of the ball?

No, but it would be a good idea to buy one made of EPDM so it can withstand brake fluid.

You might ask Victor at SpinningWheels-SC.com.
