Custom wheel and tire fitment

I am looking to put some new wheels and tires on my 1990 Thunderbird SC
I want to know if anyone has been down this road before, as far as fitment
of wheels and tires for the front and rear. I want to put on 20" wheels. But
not sure if I can fit a 10" wide wheel on the back or if I have to go with maybe an 8.5" wide wheel , I think I know I'm limited to 8.5" up front, but also not sure on that. Also tire sizes would help as well. Thank You:)

I have 17's on mine but the fronts are 17x9 and rears are 17x10.5
Micahdogg has 20's on his I believe.

10" will fit on the rear with about 7" backspacing, or +40 offset. 8.5" or 9" fits fine on the front at around +35 offset.

cheers

I've got 20X10.5 +45mm with 285 30's and 20X9 +36mm with 245 35's

I'm also lowered approximately 2 inches all around, and when the rear suspension FULLY squats, the rim contacts the upper shock tower mounts. It already filleted about 1mm off each rim lip. So according to that math, 7.55 is the maximum backspace you have to work with on a 20 before hitting stuff.

You'll also want to roll the lips in back.

Up front, no issues.

Also, I have 3.95 front space in back. If you go past the 4.0 inch mark it will probably stick out too far and look ghetto.
