Several of the STL area guys are planning to go over to Gateway Wednesday evening to make a few passes in the much cooler fall weather. This link has all the details. I'll be bringing my 93 SC for another attempt at 9s.

How about at least one GoPro video with the camera stuck to the side of your helmet? :)

Connie and me Just got home from the track. It was closed due to weather.
I was really looking forward to seeing old freinds. Well maybe another day.

I read Chris W. rebuild thread today,So I bought some new rear end parts I thought he would like to have that is no longer made or for sale. Like the center bracket that bolts to the center of rearend pumpkin to the sub-frame.I bought from the vendor in TX, forgot his name right at the moment. it is a new rebuilt with new poly center. forgot the proper name of the part. And a new aluminum pumpkin with new 4-10 gears ,f150 spring, new clutch plates ,bearings, seals, etc.

David N. I have never seen your black SC go down the track, I was really looking forward to seeing you and your v-8 SC Thunderbird. wELL HELL MAYBE NEXT YEAR.

David and I were each 3rd in line in the staging lanes at about 4:45 PM. Racing was supposed to start at 5:00 PM. At 5:30 PM, the track was still explaining that they were still dragging the track to keep the heat in the track. At about 5:40 is started to sprinkle. The event was finally cancelled around 6:00 PM.

David still managed to get a video on his GoPro that he needs to post :)

Oh yeah, the worst part was that the DA was around -400' at 5:00 PM

Kurt,

Did you happen to find out if they're running a TnT next Wednesday? The flyer/schedule discrepancy has me curious. At the moment, I'm still planning on running the Cougar on November 16th and the Mustang on November 23rd, but if they have TnT on October 30th and the weather cooperates, I may run the Mustang then.

I pretty sure they mentioned that there will be a TnT next Wednesday, but I didn't pay a lot of attention to it because i will be out of town next week.

Attached is the only picture I took last night....our cars in the staging lanes.

Weather permitting, Rod and I are going on Wednesday night Oct 30th. Forecast says 40% chance of rain, so not looking good.

David

PS: Kurt, I fixed the coolant leak from the overflow tank..like we suspected, it was a bad radiator cap.

It looks like the weather will foil our plans yet again. I'm still waiting for the forecast to change, but it isn't looking good.

Spun real bad on every pass and we had a headwind and it looks like I short shifted 2nd. If anyone if those had not happened I think it would have ran 9s.
Something to keep me motivated for next year.

.5psi would work also:) What turbo is on this beast? How are you controlling boost?

More boost made it spin worse (up in smoke). Turbo is a Precision t76gts with a .96 AR turbine housing. Using a pair of manual controllers.
