hi guys I have a blower the my 93 sc that I want to rebuild (leaking fluid from the snout) ,and it's making a slight rattle.i have 120k. does any 1 on here locally (ny/ li who does this? thx tony.

The rattling is most likely the SC coupler if it hasn't already been replaced. The seal is very easy to fix as well. The seal Number is CR7698.
I would just do it yourself. It's pretty simple to do....and if you get turbine fluid(Bp 2028 I believe). It's much cheaper that way. Here it's $8.xx a quart.

Grab a solid coupler and snout seal from SCU Its easy to put a coupler in it and replace the seal just be VERY gentle with the new seal and use plenty of oil on it to not dammage it

what is .scu? and price?
.

Not sure what SCU is.

Spinning wheels performance has the seal, SC coupler, snap ring, and 8 oz of oil for $39.00 + shipping.

Or you could buy the coupler from Ebay(http://m.ebay.com/itm/131043739856?nav=SEARCH&sbk=1), buy the seal from a seal and bearing place locally(here it was $11 with shipping), and then go to a local airport and buy some turbine fluid($8 for a quart).

I get my supercharger seals from zzperformance.com. They are double lip Teflon seals and I haven't found any better. They take a little more ingenuity to install than a regular seal with a spring tensioner. If you go the route I do, get a hold of me and I'll get you the information to install it properly without damaging it.
