While reinstalling the tube from the EGR to the exhaust maniflod I noticed a rubber hose attached to the tube. I can' t find the other spot to attach the hose to. I couldn't find the info in the Chiltons manual and the vacuum line label has been removed from the front of the engine compartment. Its for an 89 5 spd.

pressure feedback sensor located on inlet tube your throtle body is on. little gray sensor thats what tells your vacum control solenoid how much to move the egr valve

I went though this a while back and I hope you have the original hose which is actually made of silicone and cost me $50CDN. If you try a rubber hose, it will overheat and crack which will cause detonation. Here is a pic of the transducer that it plugs into. I ground the bracket hole so I could get it in and out easily, but its still a pain to replace. good luck
