TVS for an SC? Would this work?

Thanks Ken That's what I was looking for.

Does anyone know what TVS blower would be the easiest to use in regards to adapting it to an SC that was originally on a stock production car?

Also by no means does it have to be a TVS. A whipple, twin screw, etc. A better blower from a production model.

Did you notice the size of the blower? I could have run two 2.3 Whipples and not be as big as it. Also you would have to fab an IC into the lower intake which means a custom lower intake

Ken

The ebay ad seller doesn't know what they're talking about. It's for a 5.4 liter motor but the blower is a TVS 2300 which is 2.3 liter.

Yes, that's what it says...

"This is a new take off supercharger kit and intercooler from a 2012 Mustang Shelby GT500 with a 5.4L engine."

Ah that makes sense, guess one needs to use common sense when reading stuff. Still requires a custom lower intake. New years resolution, read carefully before posting:rolleyes:

Pretty sure that is a TVS 1900, because the GT500 didn't use a TVS 2300 until the 2013/2014 model with the 5.8 motor. The TVS 2300 that came on the 2013/2014 GT500 will have 5.8 on the casting like this.

Can't dispute your visual facts.............lol

That's what a prosecutor calls a slam dunk case..................;)

So as far as a list goes which I am sure I will miss a lot of components

Custom fuel rail
Inverted blower
a plate to stabilize?
custom plenum
custom pulleys

What about an IC?

I have a friend locally to me who is a mechanical guru. He stroked a 5.0L 928 engine stroked it to 7.0 and made over 600rwhp with it being NA. The crank was his own design and build. I spoke to him the other day and he said he was designing his on car, from top to bottom with his own parts. The engine starts out as a huge piece of aluminum and he makes his own block( hi tech CAD and machine shop) Doing a small displacement engine w/16 cylinders and that will rev to silly numbers.

I am coaching his daughter now and I think he might be willing to do a custom manifold of some sort.

Just a thought if I could get a manifold for 1900 tvs which were produced in numbers and will be cheap.

Why even mess with a sc when you have that:confused:
