When I step on the brake firmly with key in on position but not running the firm ride flashes on and all of the relays start clicking. Not Normal Right? Has this happened to anyone? Whats up?

Thanks

Not weird.

If brake line pressure exceeds about 400PSI, the ARC controller will kick the shocks into "FIRM" or, as it's also known, "OMG HE'S PANIC STOPPING FIRM UP SO WE DON'T RIP THE CHIN SPOILER OFF!!!!" mode :D

That's the switch on the proportioning valve that springs leaks at the current age of the cars ...

It should be on the frame rails near the steering shaft. Hard spot to change it.

Not so hard if you work from underneath. You can even do it without jacking up the car if you work by feel.

But if the ride control works normally when going down the road (not activating every time), then I would leave the pressure switch alone.
