My overflow tank hose gave up the ghost, so I went into town to get a new 3/8 hose, but all the coolant hoses are extremely thick and makes fitting it under the cap a pain. Going to trimp the one I have down a bit so it can slide under the cap and stay put to get me home.

Didn't know if anyone had a location to get the thinner hosing from or not? Napa, Advanced, Oreilly, and Autozone didn't have any. All heater hoses.

I gave up trying to easily find an appropriate replacement. Did use some clear tubing for a while, but it eventually changed color and looked bad. Now I just recycle the factory tube from spares.

Might get a double female 3/8 connector and use a couple inches of what I have so it fits under the cap.

I did the same thing. I haven't gotten fed up with the yellowing yet. Yet.

Vac hose is normally thinner walled. Should stand up to the heat.
