Today i had to put my SC up for the winter and i never really realized how hard it was to put it away and how attached i got to it this summer. This summer was all about that car and trying to put some mods on it and i realized when i put it in my barn that it was hard to look at it knowing she had to sit in there all by herself all winter long. i dont know i guess after all the TLC i gave it this summer it was hard to finally close the season. but i guess i got next season to look forward to and that is when i am putting the gears in and i am gonna put on a 5% overdrive pulley. i just wanted to share this info with u guys cause u all helped me out alot this season and i really appreciate it. i am also sure u all understand what i am feeling as well because these are really special cars. Oh and by the way i did get to get in one last kill on the express way last night. it was a new pontiac GTP and he pulled up next to me like he wanted to race so i signaled him and we both hit it and i started to really pull away from him until i caught up with another car in my lane and had to slow down. then he pulled up next to me and gave me the "ole" "good race. u beat me" salute :) that made me really get anxious about the mods i am gonna put on next season :)

Matt, did you put moth balls in the car?? and turn down the sun visors??? This will help to keep the unwanted guests that live in bards and other places of storage.. Also, did you remove the battery or at least unhook it?? These are all good things to do,I know I have been putting away toys for many years now.. Just tring to help.......One more thing, it is also a good bet to put plastic under the car and make it bigger that the car,say 10x20 This will keep any moisture from coming up under the car and starting rust on the bottom of your car.....Rich

well i didnt do the moth ball thing because i have 2 barn cats who like to lay on the car cover and that basically takes car of the mice thing haha. and come to think about it i have never even seen a mouse in the barn before haha. and about the rest of the stuff i didnt unhook the battery because i am going to be running it every few days so i figured i wouldnt need to. but i did think about putting a tarp underneath it but i would need to go buy one so that i havent dont yet. hey thanks for the advice though :)
