When lowering car?

OK, so I might have asked this already but cant find the post. I have a set of Voglandt 1.5" drop springs. What else needs to be done when doing the swap or is it a direct replacement set of springs?

replacing the rear spring cups is a good idea. You can get them from energy suspension (you need to get the ones for a 99 cobra i think http://www.energysuspensionparts.com/proddetail.asp?prod=61709 ). I would not recommend buying the shorter swaybar end links. If those are installed, you cannot raise the rear wheels off the ground without damaging the endlinks.

Just curious, what is the difference between the ones on the link for the 99 cobra and the ones from Supercoupe Performance. These are $80 which seam steep for isolators.

Mark Up is like 20%. His are 3 times the price of the cups I could find. I wound up going through Spinning Wheels.. They have always been super fair...

i put a little white lithium grease on the cups to prevent the springs from squeaking.

Look out

I have the 1.6 inch Voglant springs and I can't run a tall enough tire on the front without it rubbing when I turn sharply. I am currently running a 17X9 cobra Wheel with 245/45/17's on the front and it is too short of a tire in my opinion. Even with a 1/4 inch spacer and they rub after about 3/4 of a full turn of the steering wheel.

Going to swap out to a 3/4 drop spring and move back up to a 255/45/17 which is very close to factory tire height.

Just a FYI in my case.
