Hey,

I was just surfing the net when I cam across these links. I hope they are true, because it means the Blue-oval is Bringin the Bird Back Baby! :p

The poster says there might be a turbo charged V8 that gets 600 rear wheel horsepower (probably a very expensive and/or rare option).

To me, it looks a little like a 2-door Fusion (from the side). But that would mean it's kind of a sleeper, right?

Whatever horsepower these birds really have, they better come with a stick! :D

Those are nothing but photoshop! If Ford did come out with another T-bird, they would probably build it on an existing platform, either the Fusion or the Taurus platform, neither of which would accept the retro bird's 4.0 V8 that the article claims they will be using, not to mention why would they use that engine at all when they have V6s making much more power and getting better gas mileage that would bolt right into any platform they want to use. If the Tbird does come back, it will likely be a V6 FWD coupe with the same styling as every other Ford out there now, but honestly I don't see it coming back any time soon.

Look familiar?

It's just a photoshop of a Taurus. The Bronco comes back in 2017, too. :D:p

The copy at those links is hilarious, especially the last one.

"This 2016 Ford Thunderbird will have an extended wheelbase to improve balance with front cable relocated."

If they do make another Thunderbird They need to use a 6 inch stretched version of the current mustang platform. It needs to have 2 engines the 5.0 v8 standard and the 3.5 ecoboost v6 tuned up to 450 hp. I would choose the 5.0. It also needs to have a cockpit style interior after all the driver is the most important person in the car.
