Dave D. Pulled trough for me. He did a fine job on this TVS setup. I am working on the install right now and will post more pics and data as the project moves on.

Looks like I still have 1 1/8" to the hood Good Job! Also think I could get wipers to work if I wanted to. only trouble so far is belt length I need 41-41 1/4 long but all I could find was 40 3/4 and a 41 1/2 so I bought the 40 3/4 it is to short belt hits back side of the tensioner (see pic) so I just ordered the 41 1/2 hope it's not to long:(
How's the hood clearance?

I don't think the longer belt is going to be a problem, but might require re-clocking of the tensioner. See this thread for mods I did to mine to get proper belt tension and travel on the tensioner arm.

David, his setup is completely different than yours.

David

I can see that there is an alternator where the AC compressor would normally be located, but the snout support and belt drive from the JS pulley to blower pulley look pretty much the same as every other SCU blower kit to me. Am I missing something ?

Thanks, for the reply that is a good thread but my problem is that even with over wound lightning spring in my tensioner it still does not push the belt far enough away to clear the spring housing of the tensioner I might end up relocating the tensioner mounting location if a longer belt don't work due to the fact that I don't have alot of swig till the Idler pulley hits the snout mount for the TVS.
