no brake lights

I have replaced the brake pedal switch, all rear bulbs, and still I have no brake lights. I had a local garage "rig" my neutral safety switch to work a month ago as well. Could this have anything to do with having no brake OR third upper brake lights.

Do the flashers / turn signals work? If so, check the fuse for the stop lamps.

If they don't, check continuity to ground from a bulb socket. Looks like the lights are grounded in at least two places though, so it may just be your fuse.

Maybe they monkey-ed with the brake light wiring when they "rigged" the neutral safety switch.

Check the wiring harness plug connections on your turn signal/ smart switch. The brake light circuits run through it. I just had to clean the connections to get mine working again.
