The best part of these cars is not the speed in my opinion.
They are just beautifull automobiles and as long as they are faster than most Honda's or Toyota's
I'm a happy SC owner :D

Thanks guys. That page had alot of answers for me. I can't belive that the same guy had wrote almost all of those topics, wonder how long that took??
again thanks
I guess that the T-birds I've beat had been just the regular birds. I'm not sure that my car could beat a SC. Still keeping the screen name and sig though.

Maybe you could be courteous enough to explain exactly what your ride is, since you've been brash enough to come to this forum and claim that "Sc's are slow!"???
Respectfully yours,
Sean

P.O.S, most likely.. this is a board about a car we all enjoy, not a joke board.. if we wanted humor and jokes we would find one, but we dont, so stfu and get lost if your going to act like a 2 year old kid.. let me guess you got a honda or something right? your little 4 banger 120 whoopin horsepower, FWD altezza lit, pukey painted POS with your giant lawnmower muffler and neuspeed stickers that together, you claim give you 100 hp.. meaning your car had 20 hp to start?

Diplomacy, Gentlemen?!
SC Killer,
You claim you've encountered some of us over the years. Who are you? Have we met?
You have to keep in mind that these forums really don't afford us an opportunity to read your facial expressions and/or body language which might indicate that you're trying to be humourous.
If you truly feel that SC's are slow, then perhaps you'd like to qualify that with some explanation of why you feel that to be the case. Personally, I'd be willing to listen (or read). ...And if I disagree, then I'll gladly let you know.
I think the point that Ryan and Bruce were trying to make is that this forum in particular typically is a medium for mutually respectful communication. If you've come here to slander us and the cars we choose to drive, then I'm sure it won't be long before a moderator suspends your privileges to access this forum altogether.
Regards,
Sean

Your antics within this thread are exactly why your other post was deleted. As Sean stated, this is a mutually respectful environment, and we intend to keep it that way.
If you have nothing better to do than make fun of other people's choice of vehicle, then I would like to ask you to do so elsewhere. Considering you started this post and members can choose either to read it or ignore it, I will not edit or delete it unless the content worsens.
Please do not start any other threads in an attempt to disturb the peace.

Actually I am surprised we don't get more of this kind of crap being the World Wide Web and all. If this is all that we have to put up with to reap the benifits of this board I say bring it on I feel cheated I didn't get to read his post before it was deleted:(

Don't be too hard on "SC Killer" - his comments aren't all that bad. I've seen MUCH worse over the years! I think (maybe?) we're a little too sensitive to negative comments, and sometimes relish the opportunity to jump on anyone making them... hmmmm.
Killer,
If you're looking to buy an SC strictly for acceleration, don't bother... there are lots of better choices out there. These cars are a bit on the heavy side and take more power/money to make them quick.
On the other hand, If you're looking for a comfortable, well equipped, good handling affordable car with decent power, then an SC just might be the right choice for you... it all depends on what you expect to get from your car.
My advice is to drive one, or get a ride in one. you might like it (or maybe not), but at least you can make up your mind before plunking your cash down.

I must say that I agree with Paul here. Maybe we are a little too sensitive about our cars. I read his comments before they were deleted and granted he could have worded his question in a better way.....I saw nothing wrong with what he asked. Basically "what the hell is a jackshaft" and his question about how quick SC's were, once again had no offensive content, to me at least.
Now his signature....them is fightin words:D Seriously, that comment is subject to discussion. He is entitled to his opinion but should be able to support and back up what he said....or else that is simply ignorant.

Hey, it's me, Lazybird, and Mini-Me who are the SC killers. Well, soon we will be, eventually, we hope, maybe, once we get all our parts collected, and assembled, and tuned.

T1Bird, thats some funny ****.
My car is a domestic, sorry to tell you that!!
Has more than 100hp too! never been onb the dyno, but from the factory it's higher than ANY honda,(minus the S2000).
AS I had stated, my car doesn't beat SC's, so to keep all you(what seem to me touchy) people happy, I've droped the "SC's are slow". I'll keep from posting after this one, to keep you happy, so you don't (SC)kill(er) me when I get one and show up at a meat.
Does that make you happy?

I thought your sig was kinda funny
If you are going to buy one of these cars I am sure you will be impressed with not only the power but the handling as well.
As far as this forum is concerned I have used it for many monthes and found it to be a huge help. The people are some of the most helpfull I have ever encountered allways someone to help with information or sweat. So make friends and you will and come out to some meets or events. Trust me with these cars you need us and our collective experiences or you will be spending alot of cash on mechanics that do not know these cars. :p
