What gives with the blue oval?

The later S/C's have been around for less than 10 years now and there are tonnes of parts "no longer available". What gives?
I noticed along the lines here that you can get 94-95 pistons, but no rings!
I can only order a single exhaust system, I can't get the duals that came on my 90. (I told the dealer I had a 95 and that didn't help)

It's a good thing this place is around, a lot of people would be screwed without it.

I follow what you are saying (and agree) up until the exhaust part. All SC had 2 down pipes into one center section and resonator, then exited into dual pipes through mufflers.

The only difference was the configuration due to the gastank design. The 89-91 cars had a very large bend that curved around the gas tank, whereas 92-95 cars went more down the center.

The 95 exhaust will not fit in your early model SC, only because of the gas tank.
