Does anybody have any info on replacing oil pressure sender? Wondering if there is an adapter needed and if so where to buy and what size. Replacing with new ford part.
Thank you.

No adapter needed if you're replacing it with a stock unit. Just unscrew the bad one and screw on a new one, put some teflon tape on the threads though.

Good evening

Removing the oil pressure sender switch might be easier (because of the odd designed flats) with a special socket. This is especially helpful when the switch position is closer to the power steering bracket (if installed) and or the engine is hot. You can find the socket at any of the discount auto stores.

Good luck.

Also, before replacing, you may want to peruse the thread on TCCoA about converting the analog idiot gauge to a real oil pressure gauge (albeit one without pressure markings on it) ...

Do peruse the whole thread - it starts off for the 4.6, but there's mention of the fittings needed for a SC somewhere in the thread.
