Street tuning (obd1)

Basically Ive had my bird for a few years now and its not my main car anymore (bought a 400hp new edge mustang) and I want to just turn my sc into a beater street war machine. It has full bolt ons and some other random stuff I was able to come up with over the years and i m just pretty much at the limit without going into some tuning. But since it's my second car and it has close to 200k miles I'm not trying to spend money on a dyno tune for an engine that may pop (I have a second engine) so I was wondering what would be a good course to take for just adding a chip to the ECU and tuning it on the streets and was wondering if anyone has even done this? I might put a water/meth kit on it, fmic, cam, whatever I find (or make). It is an 89 manual but it has a 90 auto ECU in it because it fried and that's all I had on hand. I'm not looking for like professional ideas, the idea is to have a kinda crappy car that's rigged together that holds its own at the track and on the street.
