vp 110 for an 18 psi daily that pings. thoughts?

Just like the title says. Im gonna go on my lunch break and get 5 gallon of 110 and put non ethanol 93 with it. Anyone do this?

18 PSI ping sounds like lots of back pressure and some timing issues. Not sure if you want to have a melt down. I'm not the most experienced guy on this forum though.

Many do it on the track - results vary, but it will help.

I run straight MS 109 at the track...no way you want to pay for that in a daily driver.

I bet a 5gal pail costs you close to $100

Personally I don't see a reason to run 110, switch to E85 and save the money.

I use 93 octane pump gas and methanol injection with 21-22 psi and don't get detonation. Lots of other factors to consider besides octane.

I run vp110 for track duty also. I pay $8 a gallon.

Bought 5 gal. Mixed w non ethanol 93 and pinging is gone. Imma try 2 gal in my next tank
