Will a set of heads off a late model swap with earlier and vice versa?
heads interchangable between years?

only difference I remember was 94 heads and larger rocker arm stand and bolt...12 or 13mm head vs 10mm. make sure you keep/get matching rocker arms/stands and bolts..everything else about the same. different valve covers but just get the gasket set that corresponds to whatever valve cover you use.

Okay so over the winter I could theoretically work a set of 94 heads and come spring have a good set to put on my 91?

I run ported '94 heads on my 90 block w/no problems.
