I would like to find a fan connector with about 6 " of the wiring. I want to use it to hook up a variable electric fan controller on the high speed side so I can set when it runs and keep engine temps down a bit. I don't want to cut the original harness if I can. Are there compatible connectors like a regular TB Windstar or whatever. Does anyone local have something? Thanks

CARQUEST has it available under part number PT5655, almost $80 list price though. Not sure if CTC or Parts Source might have the same thing for less $$.

If you're scouting for a used one, most of the mid-90s - early 2000s Fords used that same connector.

cheers

I need the male portion of that connector which is part of the wiring harness. Anybody know where I can find this?

Thank you.

Denis, the CARQUEST PT5655 that I mentioned is what you're after I believe:

65752

Also available as a Motorcraft part through Ford dealers under p.n. WPT-168 (Ford # 1U2Z-14S411-ADA in the U.S.). Wholesale price on that is about $53.00 up here.

Hi Ed,
The 89-93 cars have different fan connectors than the 94-95 ones you have in your pictures.

This is the fan connector:

The one I am looking for is male connector which is part of the harness.

Thanks,
Denis

Ah yes, sorry! Forgot about early / late on those having the different wiring. Nothing listed as a repair pigtail from Ford on the early one that I can see. Would Brian in Orangeville maybe have something that is still in decent shape??
