Automatic Rad in A Manual car

Is there any drawbacks to running an automatic radiator in a manual car. I am assuming there is a smaller cooling area but was hoping for some opinions.

I don't see an issue. Especially when most manufs. these days find it easier to stock one style instead of two.

Here's my logic. The automatic rad is designed to take the thermal load of the trans. The manual car won't have that load on the radiator. I'm betting on as good or slightly (by a degree) performance using the auto rad in a manual car.
