I have an 89 black XR7 with gray cloth interior and manual 5 speed in excellent condition. All original except radio of course. Drives as new. 49,000 original miles. Interior is mint except carpet from not having floor mats at some point. I had new ones made for it. The carpet is not bad but not perfect, non rips, tears, etc.. Everything works except AC does not cool. There is no rust on the car whatsoever, always garaged. No body damage but has been repainted at some point due to clear coat peeling. The paint job is nice but not perfect. I've owned 4 of these including a brand new one in 90 and this is an escellent one. Runs cool but does have a little oil leak if it sits a long time on the right valve cover gasket. I traveled about 800 miles to get it and drove it home and it is a joy to drive. Tires are as new and I changed the belts when I got it ayear and a half ago. I've since driven about 500 miles tooling around in it and am running out of storage space. I do have a factory new complete moon roof for the car but it is for red interior, have an extra clutch, unused rear spoiler that would need painted the previous owner had with it. I don't know how to post pics but I bought the car here on this site and pictures are in the ad I saw here. That ad is on page 11 here and titled "1989 XR7 $6,900" and still has the pictures. Car is unchanged.
I'm asking $6,200 since it's not original paint. I can travel a ways to help buyer out if necessary. I'm in western Kansas. I can be reached at 620 408 8743 or 620 855 3857. Please leave a message if I don't answer and I will get back with you.

Just getting back into the forums after a bit of time away, and just saw this ad. Has the car been sold already? I'd love to have an 89 XR7 to go with my 89 SC...

No it is not sold, call me if you're interested to discuss.

how about $5,900? Is my price out of line? Not many of these made compared to the SC's, especially in a manual.

Forgot to mention it also has the rear fold down seats which are a bonus from what I read.

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner - been away from a computer for awhile. I would still be interested in talking more about it, and will try to give you a call later this week. I don't think that price is out of line, to be sure. Thanks!

Car is sold to someone who appreciates these, should be in good hands and remain in great shape.
