Sorry for asking the same old question, but I am getting 17x8 rims and wondering what size tire would be the best fit.

On 17x8, 245-50-17 if you want stock diameter, or 255-45-17 if you want something a bit smaller than stock height.

I agree about the 245/50 R17. I just got a set of new BFG tires, but I can't find 17x8 wheels. Where did you get yours. Could you send me a pic of them or link to where they are. Thank you.

Tony, my particular wheels are 18x8.5" Fittipaldi Force. They are also available in 17x8", but they do not come in T-Bird 4.25" bolt pattern, you would have to change to 4.5" Mustang pattern if you want to use them. Have a look here for info on them.
