The car had been sitting in the way rusting for a few years now.

Looks like it took a pretty hard hit to the right front. What's the story with this car?

I was running from the cops. Tried to make a hard turn right on hard tires and kept going straight. Went off the road into a ditch into a guard rail. Trooper stopped when he saw the wreck and told me that he was actually responding to another wreck involving a trooper and only stopped to make sure I was ok. He wasn't after me at all! Lesson learned.....

That's too bad......the XR7's just get that much harder to find than the SC's. But sometimes you have to let go, especially when the car had that much damage.

I was talking to a guy at work who had a v8 bird and said that he had a similar experience at high speed on the highway going into a corner. He was in excess of a hundred miles an hour though and he said he went to follow the turn with the wheel and the car stayed straight. He managed to ease it down and regain control but said he thought it was the design of the hood and front bumper that lead to the front of the car lifting at high speed.
I haven't done many triple digit blasts but I've done a few and I will agree that the car doesn't feel all to stable above a hundred while trying to go any direction other than straight.
Not saying you were going that fast just that your experience is similar.

Ha ha, OH YEAH I was! 110mph when I made that turn, or tried to. The Trooper must have been really moving to be gaining on me. I just love the way these cars cruise at high speed. Long wheel base stability....

If your car feels unstable at triple digits then you probably have some issues going on (tires, suspension.) MN12s are great at speed. Don't ask me though, I wouldn't know :o

They're great till about 130-135mph. Above 140, they get pretty sketchy, but then again so do most cars.
