Anyone have any hands on experience with using the Snap-on MT2500 with their 1995 or earlier SC? I have the simple actron unit that reads codes digitally but I want more "tunebility" when reading the EEC-IV computer with some live data. If so, what adapters plugs would I need, and are the personality keys necessary with OBD-1 cars.

Thanks

Wait - you can read live data from EEC-IV?

Yes, you can as long as you have the proper connector cable and cartridge for it. I watched them do it on YouTube for pre 1995 vehicles. They used to cost a bunch of cash, but since the Modis and others have come out they are down to about 100-200 bucks. I am also looking at an Actron CP 9110 which will do a bit less but will read sensors but is not bi-directional as the MT2500 is.
