1990 steering wheel on a 95

good to doo

So as you no, I have parted out 2 90 sc,s this year. I have 1 excellent steering wheel that I want to use on my 95 cause I like the look better. Can this work? Thanks.

It is doable. I run the stock wheel on a '97 column in my '90 XR7. Just ditch the clockspring and make a little bracket to mount the pin switch for the horn/cruise circuits.

Keep in mind that you may have trouble passing a safety inspection on a '94+, as you'll be removing the airbag.

It might be doable but you won't have an airbag which will throw a warning light which won't pass inspection.

Thanks for the replies. I never thought of the airbag. Also here in British Columbia we don,t need to get a vehicle inspected, just buy it and drive it.

Inspections? You'd think the people's republic or Oregon would have tried to collect fees via inspections by now but fortunately not.
