Rear Main Seal

Ok, I'm getting my flywheel resurfaced. Before I took it off, I picked up a new rear main seal from work because i figured it was leaking a little bit( about a drop every 2 weeks) Well when i take off the flywheel i noticed that the seal wasn't wet at all. Its the oil pan gasket right under the seal. I fixed that little wetness problem with the oil pan and the rear main still remains dry. My question is....should i change it? I heard that sometimes when you do change it when its not leaking...it'll end up leaking. Its fine right now and I'm hesitant to change it. What should I do? Car has 102,000 miles on it, but clutch was replaced at 89,000 and i'm not sure if the guy before me replaced it. It looks close to brand new.

leave it alone, my 89 went 227k miles and no leaks from the rear main. By the time it starts leaking (if ever) it will be clutch time again.
