Time to try this again.

1992 SC

Factory auto car converted to manual.

Nice long list of mods (see sccoa link for full details)

Put down 298hp/372tq at the tires.

Price is $2000, but please feel free to make an offer.

If you want to buy the car but have no way to pick it up, it is possible that we could work something out (depending your location).

The good:

There is well over $2000 in parts and mods in this car; you cannot build this for less.

Comes with a ton of additional parts.

The bad:

It's been parked since 2012 after (I'm assuming) the clutch let go. The rest of the drive train in is otherwise good shape.

The left side rocker will need to be repaired (between the door and the rear wheel well) as well as the rear brake line will need replaced.

This is the last chance for this car. If I don't sell it I will part it and scrap it. I would rather see it go to someone who wants it then take it to be crushed, but I am really running out of options here as it is time for it to go.

Hope you can get $2000 out of it....it's well worth it.

Lots of good parts at the least!! Why not fix it? :(

I would buy that in a heart beat if I had 2000. I surly don't want to see another sc in the scrap yard.

I dig the exhaust on it tho. Never seen that on a sc before.

Aside from the one side rocker, how's the floor/ underside?
Even if someone beats me to it, this car deserves a good home. I was just saying I wanted another mn12, just didn't think I'd see ads this soon, lol. I'll have to talk it over, I shouldn't spring stuff like this on her.

Any chance I could look at the car? I'm just the other side of Scranton, work in W-b, it wouldn't be too big of a trip to swing by one day in the evening.

I went to look at the car Friday. Spent the weekend thinking it over. The car's got a lot going for it.

The Good: There's a ton of great aftermarket parts on the car. He's absolutely right that you'd spend more to build one like this than you would to just purchase this one. The roof, fenders, hood, doors, trunk, wheel wells are all solid. The passenger rocker looks to be solid. Driver's side has some rust, but I've seen far worse that's been repaired.
The not so good: It looks like the cowl or windshield has been leaking, allowing water into the floors. The floors aren't rusted through, I'll make that clear. But if I was to buy it and plan to keep it, I'd have to do something about it. Unfortunately, nobody seems to be making replacement sections for these cars.

I think the ideal solution is to find someone who's got a junk MN12 shell already and can swap the floors into it, or someone who's got a running stock SC but wants a ton of upgrades in a one stop shop. I'd love to buy this car, but I think for me the need for some thing that's a little more turnkey kind of outweighs the horsepower right now.
