:D HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY to US: :D
The November Meeting on November 23rd marked the beginning of the 2nd year for the Super Coupe Club of IOWA._
The weather was Sunny and Cool, and it made it a great day for a cruise to Marshalltown. We meet at Applebee's parking lot and then took off for Field's Steak House and Sports Bar. Dale picked it out, and it's a great place to have our meeting.
After a brief bit of conversation in the parking lot, we moved into the lower level bar and dinning area where the conversation began with the weather and our SC's, and then turned to Football. After a few minutes it turned to the list of upcoming events and then back to football ........ well, you get the idea. (The Michigan vs. Ohio game was on TV).
The meeting was actually held between the ordering and the eating of some very good food, and there was plenty of time during and after to talk about the winter plans we have for our SC's and to get in a little bench racing._
We also talked about putting together a small outing in December or early in January. (Weather Permitting of Course).
One idea is to go over to Des Moines and go to Sprockets Karting Center. (Indoor Go-Kart Track)._
If Karting for the day sounds good to you, we will need to contact them ahead of time and reserve the track so we can get our club discount. No matter what we decide to do, I'd like to give everyone a little warning so everyone can attend if they want to. If you have any other ideas please let me know._
