So I just picked up an 89 SC with a bad harmonic dampener (previous owner put a dorman one on, and it sheered off). It didn't break the bolt, and I've got the bolt loose, but I'm not sure what the best way to try and remove the remnants of the dorman dampener would be. It doesn't have any lip that I can see that would allow me to put a 3 jaw puller on it. I've got a new front seal and a new harmonic dampener (yes, BHJ), but I don't want to damage the crank trying to get the old one off, so I'm looking for any advice before I start trying to take it off with a hammer.

Thank you. My search-fu has been off as of late. Tried to include dorman, and got a bunch of results about how dorman sucks.

I had to very carefully drill three small holes for small sheet metal screws. I was really lucky and did not mar the crank. It came out with a traditional puller.
