ABS delete or....

Long time listener, first time poster. 3 Cougars to date.

Ok, maybe this is a 'too good to be true' option, but will simply removing the ABS fuse take away its functionality completely?

Resurrecting Cougar, III, and when you press the pedal, you hear a noise and the ANTILOCK light goes on for a sec and then goes out.

It's a bit more complicated than that ;) No ABS, means no power assist, and without that, it takes hundreds of feet more to come to a rolling halt, at best.

Might need an accumulator (spinningwheels-sc has new now, so act quick), might be a combination of things, from relay(s), to ignition switch (not the lock cylinder), to pressure switch...
